SERVICES
Massage

Massage requires a consultation which will be fully discussed to establish the desired outcome and allow you an informed choice.
Massage therapy promotes relaxation and can help ease aching muscles. It helps to promote the body’s natural pain relief and gives a general sense of wellbeing.
A full body massage lasts for about an hour although if you want specific treatment on a particular area like the back this will take less time. During the treatment you will be covered by towels except the area being massaged and you can keep undergarments on to ensure your dignity. Creams, Talc or Carrier Oils are used to nourish the skin.
It is important to rest after a treatment and drink plenty of water to wash away any toxins.

Aromatherapy

Aromatherapy aims to holistically treat a person by helping to restore the mind body and spirit in harmony. It works with the essential properties of plants and the use of a carrier oil to enhance the body’s physical and emotional wellbeing. Aromatherapy is a therapeutic massage using different fragrances of essential oils which can help improve both physical and emotional wellbeing. This treatment is suitable for most adults although there are certain conditions that either require medical conformation or are not recommended. To ensure the wellbeing of clients the treatments begin with a consultation to establish suitability and the desired outcome, and if medical expertise is required your doctor’s permission will be sought.
During treatment Aromatherapy oils are blended with a carrier oil and the preparation is individualised to meet the clients needs. The treatment lasts for approximately 1 hour and towels are used to ensure your dignity at all times. To gain maximum benefit from the treatment it is important to refrain from bathing for 8 hours and to drink plenty of water.

Hypnotherapy

Do you want to reflect on life and change the way you live your life?
Hypnotherapy has been practised for hundreds of years and has been used to treat phobias, smoking cessation, weight loss, stress, exam nerves and much more.
Hypnotherapy is used as a way of exploring persistent concerns whilst in a relaxed state of mind. The aim of this therapy is to assist people in finding meaningful alternatives to their present unsatisfactory ways of thinking, feeling or behaving. Therapy also tends to help people become more accepting both of themselves and others and can be most useful in promoting personal development and unlocking inner potential. Hypnotherapy can be extraordinarily effective but is not magic and a person remains in full control of the situation.
These sessions will be personalised to your situation and can help you with your own motivation to make changes. They will last approximately 1 hour although sometimes the sessions may take a little longer. You rest gently in your day clothes in either a chair or on a couch. You are able to move your limbs and body if you so wish and will be in control the whole time.
It is a perfectly safe and natural state of mind. It is like daydreaming, and it is important to remember that you cannot be made to do anything that you do not want to do.
If a suggestion is against your beliefs it will be rejected by your subconscious and you will return to a full state of awareness.
You are in control and will be able to remember what is said with an extra awareness in the future. Hypnotherapy is about empowering you to gain control and give you the chance of improving your future responses to allow you to develop new pathways to achieve your goals.
Smoking Cessation

Concerned about your health?
Want to have more money?
Want to learn new ways to manage stress?
Although you smoke it is about accepting yourself and your responsibilities towards yourself and others.
Cigarettes contain nicotine and tar and thousands of chemicals when lit. These chemicals are absorbed into a smoker’s body and can cause detrimental affects on the body.
The more you smoke and the longer you smoke the more your body is at risk of disease.
There is an estimate of 120,000 lives a year lost to smoking
Yet within days of changing your behaviour towards cigarettes your health and body conditions will start to improve. You owe it to yourself and others you care about to become a non – smoker and live life and have some control over stress.
Learn to have what you really want –
Hypnotherapy can support you in making changes and providing you with choices to take your life in a different direction.
Phobias

Whilst fear is seen as an emotion that keeps us safe in dangerous situations, it can also be taken out of context when a phobia develops. It becomes an irrational fear that can affect a person’s life.
Hypnotherapy and Emotional Freedom Therapy (EFT) are used to explore different ways of thinking and managing emotional responses to anxiety related issues. Usually only 1 or 2 sessions are required, although an initial consultation will determine the exact amount.
Are you ready to develop a new sense of freedom and increase your motivation to accepting the irrational fears and enjoy a more peaceful life?
Clinical Hypnosis for Childbirth

Clinical Hypnosis for Childbirth is becoming a natural support to pregnant women and their partners. Childbirth is a natural process and Hypnotherapy is a way to facilitate a natural process in conjunction with medical professionals.
Mother and child are at the centre of the birth process and their needs are of paramount importance. Developing an opportunity to understand how Hypnotherapy can support a family and enhance a calm mind and a calm body is a valuable aid towards the birthing process.
